The EIS has taken the decision to cancel the 2020 Annual General Meeting as a consequence of the COVID-19 crisis. The AGM, which had been scheduled to take place in June, is the Institute’s sovereign decision-making body. There is, however, no prospect of bringing over 400 people – delegates, employees and observers – together in a safe environment at the present time.
A special online meeting of EIS Council will now be held in June to dispose of all essential AGM-related business. This meeting will also establish a new timetable for EIS business such as elections, Council and committee meetings.
