Welcome to SEJ Digital AGM 2023
AGM looks back to pay campaign, ahead to new campaign
It was a time for change at this year’s AGM, held in Aviemore for the first time. It also marked the first time that the AGM was addressed by a female General Secretary, with Andrea Bradley delivering her first Annual Report to delegates. Outgoing President Andrene Bamford presided over her final meeting in post, with incoming President Paula McEwan also formally welcomed to the role. With a total of 75 Motions on the agenda, together with the fringe programme, and the launch of the new national EIS campaign, it was a busy 3-days for all concerned.
We hope you enjoy reading this special AGM edition of the SEJ, which provides an overview of the decisions taken at this year’s conference. This edition is not a verbatim report, as it is not possible to report on all contributions and motions at AGM.
