As part of its continuing commitment to keeping members informed, the EIS has recently expanded its social media presence by setting up a profile on Bluesky.

Bluesky is a microblogging social media site, with a similar look and feel to the former Twitter platform. The site was originally established as an offshoot of Twitter, but became independent when Twitter changed ownership.

Now an independent benefit corporation, Bluesky has seen significant growth over the past year, as an increasing number of individuals and organisations seek alternatives to other social media platforms.

The EIS is in the early stages of building up its presence and content on Bluesky, and encourages all members who are active on social media to consider following the EIS on the platform.

The EIS intends to use Bluesky as a key platform to keep members informed in the coming months, and to complement other established communications channels such as the EIS website, member emails, bulletins and the SEJ.
