The pay dispute at Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) has been resolved, following a programme of strike action by EIS-ULA members at the institution.
The EIS and SRUC have now agreed a Memorandum of Understanding that will bind SRUC and the EIS to implement key points within a future Pay & Grading Framework, and work together to design a pay and grading structure that will reflect the organisation’s unique nature in Scotland.
The pay and grading structure will be underpinned by a job evaluation process and will be benchmarked against the sector, developing a structure that will align academic grades to the HEI sector norm.
